How to Associate a file with an application in Windows
Windows associates various applications with file extensions so that
the correct application opens when you double click on a file in Windows
Explorer. This is sometimes troublesome if you have multiple
applications that can open a particular file type.
To add an association for a file type, open Win
Windows Explorer, browse to a file of the type you want to modify and
right click to bring up the menu.

If the program that you want to use is not listed in the Open With
drop down list, select Choose Program.
