Frequently Asked Questions Q: In my old version of SeeHear! I could save all kind of multimedia to a database. Why doesn't this new version include that feature? A: Microsoft says that there's some kind of vulnerability issue with the MS Access databases which we don't understand so we decided it wasn't worth the risk. Q: When I show a movie in full screen I have to use Ctrl/Alt/Delete to end the program before I can do anything else. A: Press the Esc key. Q: I can't read the full name of the files in the play list because it isn't wide enough. A: Hover your mouse in the top right corner of the play list and when the cursor changes to East-West, drag the edge over to make the list wider. A scroll bar will appear at the bottom. Q: I want to open my music files with SeeHear! but when I double click on the in Windows Explorer it opens Windows Media Player. A: See the link: How to Associate a file with an application in Windows Q: Rather than messing around with file associations why can't I just drag media files from Windows Explorer to SeeHear? A: You can but a desktop shortcut is easier to access. Note that if you're playing something and drop a new clip the player will stop and then start playing the new clip just as it would if you loaded a new clip from the menu. Q: Why don't you have a reminder message before quitting to warn the user that the play list has been modified? A: The feature you requested was added in version 8.2.13 (December 8, 2006). Test it for us please. The feature is not as simple as it seems and touches a lot of code. Q: How do I get album art for my music? A: Album Art Q: Sometimes there's no button to save the changes in the MP3 tag window and sometimes its there but gray. A: (1.) When media is being played the tag can't be edited because Windows locks the file so the button isn't visible. a: (2.) If you haven't made any changes to the editable fields the button isn't enabled.
