Mixed Format CD's Not to be confused with the Mixed Mode CD-ROM XA standard, for the purposes of this document, mixed format CD's are data CD's with various kinds of sound files in a file structure similar to a drive tree. It is important to note that as of this writing very few CD or DVD players can read a file structure or walk a directory tree so unless you plan to use your CD in a computer you should not use this mode. In Magic Music you will want to create a new Data CD.
Because of the file structure, this is the most complicated CD and the interface is not as simple. You can of course simply add files to the root and make a CD that is exactly like and MP3 CD or you can create nested trees of files and folders just like any typical data CD.
When you add a file, a directory and the directory's contents or an empty folder the new object will be appended to the selected node.
Because folders may contain sub-folders and many files it is very easy to import more files than your blank CD can hold.
The process using Nero is identical to the process of creating MP3 CD's.
